Java Cat is truly a hidden gem!! The best priced coffee shop.. WOW! The atmosphere is welcoming and a great space for gathering, working, or just enjoying a bite or great cup of coffee! It’s also great for when I want to get out of the office and be among great people! Great Job Java Cat!!

Great little house unexpectedly tucked into the east side of Madison. Beautiful grounds for relaxing outside and lovely interior for doing the same. Known for coffees, teas, and breakfast, my friend and I tried a late lunch. Local bread used for a tasty club sandwich and delicious gelato for dessert! I highly recommend this awesome little gem.

Great little gem! Wonderful, welcoming atmosphere. Enjoyed the Java club, it was excellent! Outdoor seating is great and ample seating inside. I made a note to come back and try the amazing gelato and coffee. Excellent establishment!

Stopped in on our way to Minneapolis. Met a friend for a hot beverage and bakery. It’s a small building, previously a home that has been repurposed and remodeled into a coffee shop. A white sided single floor with a couple of signs that let you know where they are. Plenty of parking out front. It was mid morning on the Wednesday before Thanksgiving. There were several other small groups inside. The interior is bright and cheerful. Got a friendly greeting as we gave our orders. I got a London Fog Tea Latte (little lavender, little vanilla, extra foam), along with a Morning Bun. Got the drink in a mug and the pastry heated up. The London Fog was good but not great. It was a little weak and could have used more steeping. It was also warm but not hot. The Morning Bun was delicious. Lots of cinnamon and great texture. The noise level was a little loud, but we still let us have a casual conversation. Would stop back next time I am in the neighborhood. I’d be sure to emphasize the steeping and temperature for the London Fog.

Cute little shop with tasty food, great coffee (and other drinks) and gelato! The shop is very warm and inviting (tons of light), has a cute little kids corner with toys, and has a large outdoor area for when the weather is nice. They also don’t over sweeten their specialty drinks, which is a plus in my book.

Suuuuuuuper cute!! The coffee here is AMAZING. My boyfriend ordered an iced latte and I ordered an iced caramel macchiato. Carmel macchiato was amazing, just the right amount of sweet, and you can taste the well-crafted espresso. We also ordered a single scoop affogato, and they ran out of chocolate gelato so the gent behind the counter suggested their peanut butter pie gelato. AND LET ME TELL YOU, it was an AMAZING combination. Would gladly come here again any day!!!

Recently stopped by for breakfast with a friend and had a lovely time! I ordered an iced latte and a croissant breakfast sandwich with bacon. Everything was tasty and the atmosphere was pleasant. I’m looking forward to coming back when it’s warm enough to sit outside!
